August Currently and Freebie Friday

Wow. I cannot believe it is August already. Eeeeeek! September will be here before I know it! We go back Sept. 4th, so I still have time to get ready. Here is my August Currently to link up with the fab Farley over at Oh' Boy 4th Grade!

My three Back to School (B2S) Must Haves are:

1. Just ordered myself a set of these babies from Really Good Stuff! They are a bit pricey, but I love the bright colours and they should hold up for many more years over my cardboard book boxes.

2. New picture books. This isn't really a back to school thing. It's more of an all-year thing. But here are some of the books in my shopping cart that I am going to purchase before school starts:

(Thanks for this one, Swersty!)

(Thanks Barbara, guest blogging for Barbara! lol)

3. Coloured ink and cardstock! I am going through these two items like CRAZY!! Hooo-weee! :)

Now onto the freebie! I am linking up with TBA for their FANTASTIC FRIDAY FREEBIE linky!

Freebie Fridays

These are number practice mini booklets I created last September. I never got around to posting them. For each number 1-10 there is a double sided page (fold in half hamburger-style to make the mini book). Each booklet has a number formation poem to help practice the number, spelling the number word, drawing tally marks, and filling in a ten frame. The back of the booklet has a fun little drawing page that goes with the number!

To download your FREEBIE booklets for the numbers 1-10, click the picture below. These are perfect for reviewing numbers at the beginning of the year!

  3. I think the dryer-sock-eater and the color-ink-eater may be related. Except now my printer is screaming that it is low on black ink. I can't win. :)
