Is it really December already?? Somebody pinch me! It's the first of the month so time for CURRENTLY with Farley!
I can't believe how fast time is going. It seems like just yesterday I said good-bye to my firsties and welcomed my little one three days later! But now my little baby has turned 8 months, cut her first tooth, is a crawling and standing machine, and is going to be walking in no time! Look at how cute her Christmas photo shoot turned out...
What a little peanut! I think she is just too adorable for words. She was full of smiles and had a great time. (P.S. Don't I make a great Santa?? hehe) Love our photographer, Jenn Vogt. I am already thinking about doing a 1st birthday shoot!
Anywho, I'm planning on doing some December RACKs (Random Acts of Christmas Kindness) this month. Some days we don't leave the house, but when we do (especially since mommy has lots of Christmas shopping left to do!) we will spread some kindness along the way. I just love this time of year!
I have to get my house cleaned this week so we can pull out the decorations! We usually wait until the first weekend in December to decorate. I am a real-tree kind of girl, so I don't like to get it too early. We had an artificial tree our first year at our last house, but this is what happened to it:
Oscar decided he liked to sleep in the middle, creating a nice large gap. I gave it away for free at a garage sale. So it's been real trees ever since! I'm quite excited/nervous to see how Zoe deals with the tree. We might just decorate the top half this year.
Enjoy your week! Happy Christmas time to everyone! :)
Those pictures are ADORABLE!! You do make a great Santa! I totally think that you should do a one year photo shoot too! We did a cake smash with my baby girl, and the pictures are amazing!! You won't regret it, I promise! Especially if you did newborn pictures too, it's amazing how different they are just one year later!! Good luck with your Christmas shopping!!

OMG! What a wonderfully, delicious little nugget of joy you have there. I love the idea of RACKS. I think I'll use that in my December guidance lessons. How fun!

How stankin' cute is that baby! I also want to do RACKS this year with my students but I'm finding it hard to get something together. Maybe you can post some ideas as you go!
ReplyDeleteYour little girl is ah-dorable!! That red & green ruffle outfit. I can't even. It was genius for you to be Santa in the pictures. Those are priceless! :) My little girl is 14 months - talking, walking, all over the place. Don't blink. She'll be a toddler. ;)
ReplyDeleteIf you do Elf on the Shelf or Polar Express in your classroom, I'm giving away both of those units this week!
